About the role
Summary: The current fraud rules ecosystem utilizes IBM ODM, SQL, and Azure for fraud rule creation and management. The team is transitioning from a rules-focused model to a more developer-driven approach to support legacy system modernization and platform enhancement initiatives. Responsibilities: The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting the transition from a rules-focused model to a developer-driven approach. This includes working on legacy-to-modernization migration projects and enhancing the existing application ecosystems and architecture. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of Software Engineering/Development experience. At least 3 years of hands-on IBM ODM experience. Experience working on legacy-to-modernization migration projects. Cloud experience is mandatory (Azure preferred, but any cloud platform experience is acceptable). Required Skills: Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or Go (Golang). Strong understanding of existing application ecosystems and architecture. Experience with automation and software engineering best practices. Database experience, preferably MongoDB or other relational or NoSQL databases. Preferred Skills: Financial Services / Banking domain experience. Fraud domain experience is a significant advantage but not mandatory. Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives and experience working on AI implementation projects. Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI (GenAI).
