Network Programmer

You are a Local Area Network (LAN) Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise LAN environments at ADM. As a senior technical expert, you will work closely with the Network Manager to lead complex network projects and ensure high availability, performance, and security across all sites. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting network capacity planning, and recommending new technologies to improve the network environment. You will also be responsible for network documentation, root cause analysis, and participating in on-call rotation for critical incidents. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end architecture and design of enterprise LAN environments for high availability and security. - Deploy, manage, and optimize Cisco Viptela SD-WAN solutions including policy configuration and multi-site orchestration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network strategy and infrastructure roadmap. - Conduct network capacity planning, traffic analysis, and performance tuning to meet defined SLAs. - Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation including topology diagrams and change management records. - Lead root cause analysis for complex network incidents and implement corrective actions. - Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies and best practices for continuous improvement. - Participate in on-call rotation for critical network incidents and planned maintenance activities. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 7 years of LAN architecture and design experience in multi-site enterprise environments. - Minimum 5 years of experience with Cisco networking platforms, especially switching and routing. - Expertise with Cisco Viptela SD-WAN, Catalyst, Nexus switching platforms, and network security principles. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex network issues. - Hands-on experience with Cisco DNAC, Python API integration, and network automation frameworks. - Familiarity with SolarWinds NPM and NCM for monitoring and configuration compliance.
