JOB LEVEL P20EMPLOYEE ROLE Individual Contributor The opportunityAdobe Express is reimagining how millions of people create with design intelligence at the centre of it. We're looking for an Experience Designer to help shape our Color and Styling workflows, as well as contribute to the AI Assistant experiences within Express. You'll work on the systems that help users discover their taste, build visual consistency, and bring color and style to their creations, increasingly powered by AI. This is a hands-on design IC role for someone with solid craft and a growth mindset, who's excited to work at the intersection of creative tooling and AI. You'll partner closely with senior designers, product managers, and engineers to take ideas from concept to shipped experience. What you'll do Design end-to-end experiences for Color and Styling workflows in Adobe Express from sketches and wireframes to high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes. Contribute to AI Assistant workflows within Express, helping define how users interact with AI to style, refine, and personalize their work. Produce clear design documentation and communicate your rationale to teammates and cross-functional partners. Participate in user research and usability testing, and fold those learnings back into your designs. Set your own deadlines within the project schedule and reliably deliver against them. Incorporate feedback from design leads, product managers, and collaborators, iterating quickly and exploring multiple solutions. Work within and contribute to Adobe's design system, helping keep experiences consistent and on-brand. What you'll bring Must-haves: Solid design skills with strong attention to detail across interaction and visual design. High-fidelity fluency in Figma, Adobe CC apps and AI tools, with the ability to produce wireframes, prototypes, and polished mock-ups. An understanding of the product design lifecycle and the different phases of the design process. Genuine interest in color, styling and the craft of helping users make beautiful things. Curiosity about AI and how it can augment creative workflows. Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a willingness to give and receive feedback constructively. A growth mindset and eagerness to broaden your skills and domain knowledge. Nice-to-haves: Familiarity with front-end coding (HTML/CSS/JS) or comfort prototyping in code. An aptitude for logic and algorithmic thinking, useful for designing systematic, rules-based styling and color experiences. Exposure to designing for AI-powered or generative product experiences. Familiarity with motion design and animation. Background needed: Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, HCI, or a related field 2+ years of experience designing desktop software, mobile apps and/or web applications A portfolio that demonstrates solid design craft and high-fidelity execution, including professional projects, internship, or any personal projects.
