About the role
As a Software Development Engineer 4 on the Growth Team at Adobe, you will be part of a team that is re-imagining the way people discover, create, and publish various media types directly in the browser and on mobile devices. The Growth (Engagement) team focuses on building new features, experiences, and product integrations to enhance user engagement. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with engineering teams and leadership to provide architectural expertise and design mentorship - Architect, write, and optimize new UI components, core end-user-facing experiences, and workflows - Tackle significant engineering challenges such as building modern front-end, back-end, and end-to-end user journeys - Architect new iterations of critical components and optimize for massive scale - Maintain and solve issues in the production environment - Conduct code reviews, ensure code hygiene, and provide feedback on features, technology, and architecture - Mentor other engineers on the team - Collaborate with UI/UX designers, Architects, and Product Managers to design and implement modern, delightful, and intuitive features - Introduce procedures for efficient and high-quality software development including unit testing, automated UI testing, and maintaining coding standards - Leverage modern AI tools to improve development velocity and code quality - Build Agentic AI workflows for all SDLC flows - Integrate AI capabilities into product features while ensuring reliability and performance constraints - Design systems that incorporate probabilistic AI outputs into production-grade software - Participate in an on-call rotation Qualifications Required: - B.Tech/M.Tech from a premier institute with 7+ years of experience, including technical leadership with high-performance engineering teams - Deep expertise in advanced JavaScript and TypeScript - Solid understanding of core web technologies and experience in building responsive, elegant, and scalable web applications - Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Web Component, React, Vue, Angular - Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and design principles - Backend development experience with technologies like NodeJS, REST APIs, ElasticSearch, Python, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, Kubernetes, Elastic Containers - Extensive knowledge of Web Standards, modern browsers, and their internals - Proficiency in building web apps that function seamlessly across various browsers, including mobile - Knowledge of load optimization, cloud deployment strategies, and CI/CD pipelines - Familiarity with monitoring systems like Splunk, New Relic, Grafana - Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and distributed system design/implementation - Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing - Good understanding of Native mobile technologies like Kotlin/Java, Swift About Adobe: Adobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity, and personalized customer experiences.
