About the role
As a Computer Scientist II at Adobe in Noida, UP, India, you will have the opportunity to work on world-class engineering projects in an innovative and collaborative environment. Your role will involve leading features or systems end-to-end, from build through implementation to deployment and monitoring. To excel in this position, you should have a strong proficiency in Scala, Java, or Python, with expertise in Spark. Additionally, you will need a deep understanding of Apache Spark internals, tuning, and optimization, and experience with microservices architecture, frameworks, and distributed systems concepts. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, orchestration tools, and messaging/streaming platforms will be beneficial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead features or systems end-to-end, from build through implementation to deployment and monitoring - Demonstrate strong proficiency in Scala, Java, or Python, with expertise in Spark - Deep understanding of Apache Spark internals, tuning, and optimization - Experience with microservices architecture and frameworks like Spring Boot or FastAPI - Solid grasp of distributed systems concepts such as consistency, availability, partitioning, and fault tolerance - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and messaging/streaming platforms like Kafka or Pulsar Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of professional software engineering experience - Proficiency in Scala, Java, or Python with Spark expertise - Experience with microservices architecture and frameworks - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and orchestration tools - Familiarity with messaging/streaming platforms - Nice to have: Experience with data lake formats, understanding of data governance, and familiarity with Generative AI efficiency tools About Adobe: Adobe is a leading company empowering everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unlock creativity, productivity, and personalized customer experiences.
