About the role
: We are seeking an experienced Power BI Solution Architect to design, architect, and lead enterprise-scale Business Intelligence and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, data modeling, and BI architecture, with proven experience in translating complex business requirements into scalable and high-performing technical solutions. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, analysts, and development teams to deliver robust, secure, and governed analytics platforms. Key Responsibilities - Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performing Power BI and enterprise BI solutions. - Lead the complete lifecycle of Power BI solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, visualization, deployment, and governance. - Design and deliver advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and interactive data visualizations. - Develop optimized Star Schema and dimensional data models to support enterprise reporting and analytics. - Define and implement Power BI architecture, workspace strategies, deployment pipelines, and governance frameworks. - Configure and manage Power BI Service capabilities, including workspaces, apps, gateways, Row-Level Security (RLS), and access management. - Leverage Microsoft Fabric components, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, and semantic models. - Integrate Power BI with Azure data platforms, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL. - Drive performance optimization of Power BI reports, datasets, and semantic models to ensure scalability and efficient data consumption. - Establish and enforce best practices related to data governance, security, compliance, and BI lifecycle management. - Collaborate with data engineers, data architects, business analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. - Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to Power BI developers and BI teams. - Conduct architecture assessments and recommend enhancements to existing BI and analytics environments. - Evaluate emerging capabilities and stay current with the latest developments across Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and modern data platforms. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications - 812+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, or related fields. - 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with Power BI. - Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Power BI architectures and solutions. - Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. - Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL. - Robust understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and Star Schema design. - Proven experience in Power BI performance tuning and optimization. - Strong knowledge of Power BI security, Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace management, and governance. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure data services. - Experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and/or Azure SQL. - Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and solution design skills. - Ability to provide technical leadership and work effectively with cross-functional teams. Good to Have - Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600). - Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300). - Experience with Power BI Embedded. - Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices. - Experience implementing Power BI deployment pipelines and source control. - Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics and data science use cases. - Experience working with large enterprise or global delivery environments. .
