Role Overview: As a SQL Data Analyst, you will be responsible for writing complex SQL queries, performing data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Your expertise in working with structured datasets will ensure data accuracy and drive business decisions. This freelance opportunity is suitable for individuals comfortable with night-shift overlap and capable of independently managing data-driven tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. - Perform data cleaning, transformation, and aggregation using SQL. - Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. - Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity and consistency. - Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver analytical solutions. - Support reporting needs by preparing datasets for dashboards and BI tools. - Identify data discrepancies and troubleshoot data-related issues. - Ensure efficient query performance and database optimization. - Document SQL logic, data flows, and analytical processes. Qualification Required: - 6+ years of experience in data analytics or SQL-focused roles. - Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, Window Functions, Query Optimization). - Experience working with relational databases and understanding business logic. - Solid understanding of data validation, data cleaning, and quality assurance practices. Additional Details: The compensation for this freelance position is INR 900 1100 per hour based on experience. The working hours are flexible between 7:00 PM 12:30 AM IST with a night-shift overlap required. This remote position is suited for professionals who can work independently and are adept at managing data-driven tasks effectively.
