Note : Needs to be able to commute to Dallas for day one to pick up equipment, 1 round of interview – Need USC or GC, EAD can work for a knock out all-star candidate – Need Epic PB Certification and minimum 5 years of experience Position : Epic Analyst Location : Hybrid in Dallas, TX Duration : 06+ Months Rate : $60/HOUR ON C2C ALL INC Client : Parkland Health – Interview : Virtual Overview Client is seeking a Professional Billing (PB) Analyst with strong PB operational and/or PB build experience to support our Revenue Cycle team during a period of transition. This role is primarily focused on run‑and‑maintain support , ad‑hoc tasks, and ticket resolution while the core team shifts to an upcoming Refuel initiative. This is a backfill role , ideal for someone who is comfortable stepping into an established environment, handling day‑to‑day PB needs, and ensuring stability while long‑term hiring is underway. Key Responsibilities Operational Support & Maintenance Serve as the primary resource for Professional Billing (PB) support , including troubleshooting, ticket triage, and issue resolution. Manage daily operational tasks to ensure PB workflows remain stable and efficient. Address ad‑hoc requests from end users, leadership, and cross‑functional teams. Build & Configuration Perform medium‑level PB build tasks as needed—no heavy project‑based build required. Update PB configuration, rules, and workflows to support ongoing operational needs. Assist with minor enhancements, optimizations, and maintenance of existing PB functionality. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with the core PB team as they transition to Refuel activities. Communicate effectively with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders. Provide clear documentation of changes, fixes, and updates. Transition & Backfill Support Act as a stabilizing resource during the 6‑month period while permanent hiring is completed. Maintain continuity of PB operations and ensure no disruption to revenue cycle performance. Required Qualifications Hands‑on experience in Professional Billing (PB) —either operational, technical, or coding‑adjacent. Ability to perform PB build/configuration at a medium level. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to handle ad‑hoc tasks and shifting priorities. Experience supporting ticket queues and run‑and‑maintain environments. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare systems, revenue cycle, or Epic PB (if applicable to Parkland’s environment). Familiarity with coding workflows or PB‑coding intersections. Prior experience in a backfill or transitional support role. Work Environment & Requirements Fully remote after Day 1. Must be able to be on‑site on the first day to pick up Parkland‑issued equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Comfortable joining a team in transition and supporting stability during organizational shifts.
