About the role
Role: Saviynt IAM Architect Location: Houston, TX Qualification Individuals within this role will specialize in the security architecture disciplines area of application solutions. Provides advanced architecture and engineering support to automate and administrator identity and compliance requirements into all enterprise information systems. Drives planning and execution of identity management roadmaps and technology enhancements. Creates and maintains standards surrounding documentation related to identity processes, procedure, and infrastructure. Assesses current applications and architecture to ensure current implementations align with industry guidelines, best practices, and management approved standards. Architects plan for implementing management's directives in most secure manners with least disruption. Assists various IT departments with design, implementation and troubleshooting of security technologies. Provide security guidance and requirements to technology teams when no solution is currently available. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. problem Solver: Complex problems often require innovative, creative approaches—and you’ll work to come up with outside-the-box solutions to solve them. Motivated Mentor: Exercise your technical chops while coaching and collaborating with junior software engineers. Help define overall architectural principles, frameworks, and standards. Contribute to the architecture strategy and manage the alignment to the product roadmap. Combine a broad understanding of current technologies with deep, architect-level expertise in core areas such as database design, software architecture, cloud architecture & infrastructure architecture. Provide input on technology selection and help drive best practices. Guide early-phase application design decisions through strong communication skills and deep technical expertise Drive technical decisions to support critical success factors like performance, security, scalability, and maintainability; and identify opportunities for improvement in those same areas in existing systems. Facilitate and drive technical design conversations as part of the backlog grooming process across development teams. Qualifications 6+ years of dedicated identity administration and governance experience 6+ years of information technology administration experience or equivalent combination of work and educational experiences 5+ years Designing and implementing identity solutions. Must have some working experience/knowledge with Saviynt. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of identity technologies and concepts Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Single-Sign On (SSO), and Federated Identities Proven knowledge of security (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GPEN, GWAPT, GCIH, other GIAC certifications, OSCP, CEH, Check Point, PCNSE, etc.) Proven knowledge of identity frameworks and the deployment of various identity models within an enterprise setting Strong knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns.
