Principal Engineer

Job Description Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end design and engineering of ELV systems, including: Fire Detection Alarm Systems (FDAS) CCTV Video Surveillance Access Control Systems Public Address Voice Evacuation (PAVA) Structured Cabling (Copper Fiber) BMS / IBMS / DCIM integration Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Security/Physical Security Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ELV systems across projects. Develop and review Basis of Design (BOD), specifications, drawings, and BOQs. Coordinate with MEP, IT, Architecture, Civil, and Client teams for seamless system integration. Review and approve vendor submittals, technical proposals, and shop drawings. Support construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Ensure compliance with international and local standards (NFPA, IEC, IS, NBC, BS, TIA/EIA). Identify technical risks and implement value engineering and mitigation strategies. Mentor and guide junior and mid-level ELV engineers. Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and technical workshops. Support proposals, estimates, and business development activities when required. 10+ years of experience in ELV system design and delivery. Experience on large commercial, data center, healthcare, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Strong exposure to IP-based and integrated ELV systems. Experience working in consultancy and/or EPC environments. BIM/Revit exposure preferred.
