Senior Engineer-Transport Planning

Job Description Key Responsibilities Being accountable for traffic engineering and transport planning, modelling delivery and verification on a range of transport projects Mentor, guide teams to achieve technical requirements and deliver the projects. Good hands-on experience of Strategic modelling software SATURN, DIADEM Experience in SATURN network development, Model Calibration and Validation , Demand forecasting and Matrix Estimation. Familiarity with UK/US/ANZ/Middle East transport modelling guidance - (e.g., NPPF, DfT Guidance, Local Plans). Mentor and support junior engineers. Liaise with clients and AECOM s global project teams to ensure technical excellence and timely delivery. Qualifications Master s degree in the relevant subject (e.g., Transport Planning/Engineering, or related subjects) 5 8 years of relevant experience in transport planning and modelling . Strong proficiency in SATURN, ArcGIS, TEMPro, DIADEM Experience in data processing, automation, and scripting (Python / R) desirable. Excellent communication, coordination, and writing report skills.
