Landscape Architect / Designer

As a Landscape Designer with 8+ years of experience and an M Arch education, you will be responsible for creating landscape design concepts and plans for projects of various scales. Your strong understanding of horticulture, plant materials, and sustainable landscape practices will be essential in this role. You will also utilize landscape design software such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. Key Responsibilities: - Work with principal and senior landscape architects to develop landscape design concepts and plans. - Conduct site visits, evaluate environmental conditions, and gather data for design decisions. - Produce drawings, renderings, and presentations using CAD software. - Participate in client meetings to understand their goals and provide design solutions. - Assist in plant selection and layout considering environmental factors, aesthetics, and sustainability. - Prepare construction documents including site plans, planting plans, and technical specifications. - Manage Landscape Architect Projects and staff to ensure quality work within deadlines and budgets. - Oversee all active Landscape Architecture projects within the firm. - Review and approve project proposals and subconsultant contracts. - Stay updated on sustainable site concepts and industry trends for company benefit. - Manage day-to-day studio operations and enhance employee morale through effective communication. - Mentor staff, participate in recruiting, and review studio billings for compliance with revenue goals.
