Principal Software Engineer

Roles and Responsibility JOB DESCRIPTION Position/Title: Principal Software Engineer Department: Development Location: Remote Position Description . This position is responsible for enhancing and maintaining existing software products as well as developing new products. The ideal candidate has a strong desire for excellence, with confidence in their expertise, and is a creative problem solver. KEY DUTIES Typically requires 15 or more years of experience. Proven previous experience at the Senior Software Engineer role. Must have experience developing with AI assistance. Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, SPA, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, AWS and Kubernetes. Leadership skills and the ability to lead the change within a team, adapt and pivot to new tasks and work with different teams. Must have hands on experience with Linux and CI/CD. Superior working knowledge of Agile Project development methodology and the ability to implement those methodologies in active projects. Proven experience and knowledge of the relevant programming language requirements for this role and the ability to share that knowledge with team members. Clear and concise communication skills (verbal and written) BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Working knowledge of software life-cycle applications. Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum Project development methodology. A good working knowledge of the relevant programming language requirement for this role. Good communications skills both verbal and written. The ability to collaborate and work with on team are necessary. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
