Senior IT System Administrator (Windows)

Job description Provides focused attention on back-office systems projects to enable scalability, reliability and manageability of all corporate computing environments. Performs routine back-office systems administration tasks as needed. Identifies opportunities for systems or process improvements. Troubleshoots systems issues and drives initiatives to ensure future avoidance. Researches and recommends new technologies to support varying business needs. Delivers technical expertise and proficiency across a broad spectrum of technologies and can solve technical problems of varying complexity. Can effectively communicate topics of a technical nature to a diverse audience. Documents system issues and solutions, best practices, and system architecture. Is self-aware. Key Required Skills Hands-on Experience Configuring & Managing: Windows server 2016, 2019, 2022 Email administration, ie Google g-suite or Office 365 Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, RADIUS Identify Management (Ping, SSO), EntraID PKI Certificate management Multi-Factor solutions, ie DUO, RSA Virtualization, VMware and/or HyperV Cloud compute Azure/AWS/GCP Backup technologies, ie Veeam, Backup Exec, Rubrik SOX controls and PCI audits Scripting, ie PowerShell, VBScript Internal business partners with their applications, including ERP s, BI systems etc Desirable: Experience Administrating Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Cloud Computing Services Google Cloud Platform Linux server administration - basic level ServiceNow ITSM Kace Software Deployment JAMF MDM Intune/AutoPilot Server EndPoint Protection, CrowdStrike VDI management and administration Qualifications and Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Certified in at least one core technology (ie Microsoft, VMware). bachelors degree Role: System Administrator / Engineer Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: Engineering - Hardware & Networks Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: IT Network Education UG: Any Graduate PG: Any Postgraduate
