About the internship: AffinityAnswers is the creator of the industry's first predictive branding platform. Its proprietary mutual affinity algorithms analyze active social engagement data across more than 100,000 brands and 400 million fans worldwide to generate predictive insights. We are hiring Full Stack (AI) Engineering Interns who are passionate about software development, problem-solving, and building scalable applications powered by data and AI. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Work as a junior engineer on data engineering tasks, including data collection, transformation, and analysis. 2. Contribute to front-end development, gaining hands-on experience across the full technology stack. 3. Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. 4. Develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices. 5. Work with large datasets using SQL and database technologies. 6. Write and maintain Unix shell scripts and work in Linux-based development environments. 7. Leverage AI tools and machine learning models to build practical solutions while maintaining strong coding fundamentals. 8. Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and continuous improvement of existing systems. Strong programming fundamentals with a good understanding of data structures and algorithms. 2. Proficiency in Python. Knowledge of Java will be an added advantage. 3. Hands-on experience working in Linux-based environments and familiarity with Unix command-line tools and shell scripting. 4. Strong knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals. Ability to write complex SQL queries is preferred. 5. Basic understanding of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and the practical use of AI models. 6. Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-structured code without relying solely on AI coding tools. 7. Good problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging skills. 8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
