About the role
As a Senior Python Engineer at AgileEngine, you will play a crucial role in shaping and scaling intelligent backend solutions to power data-driven products for real-world decision-making. You will have a significant influence on system architecture, cloud-native design, and service integration, working at the intersection of software engineering and AI/ML. Your contributions will be key in championing clean code practices and CI/CD processes, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and witnessing your work come to life from design to production. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable python applications - Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following coding standards - Lead architecture and framework selection for projects - Ensure proper integration of front-end components and back-end services - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback - Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues - Implement unit tests, integration tests, and support continuous integration - Project duration 6 months Qualifications Required: - 47 years of relevant experience in data engineering, backend development, or AI/ML - Strong Python development skills, including experience with data processing libraries - Proficiency in SQL - Proficiency in Microservices & REST Apis - Proficiency in Data modeling - Solid understanding of clean code - Exposure to test automation frameworks (pytest) - Solid understanding of software engineering practices like Git-based development, code review, and CI/CD pipelines - Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and take ownership from design to production deployment - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, especially for complex data and integration issues - Comfortable engaging with non-technical stakeholders - Strong written and verbal communication in English Nice to Have: - LLM orchestration frameworks - Classical ML - AZURE/GCP - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field - Demonstrated experience delivering production-grade, client-facing data and analytics products on cloud infrastructure If you're looking for a place where you can grow technically, make a significant impact, and work with a team that values your contributions, AgileEngine is the place for you.
