Requisition ID 10284 - Posted 07/21/2026 Job Description Linux Support Engineer / Kubernetes Administrator (46 Years) Role Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Linux Support Engineer / Kubernetes Administrator with 46 years of experience to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong Linux operating system fundamentals, hands-on Kubernetes administration experience, and solid Python scripting skills. Key Responsibilities Manage and support Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and issue resolution. Analyze and troubleshoot system performance, resource utilization, and bottlenecks across compute and container platforms. Perform hardware installation, replacement, and basic hardware troubleshooting when required. Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate operational tasks, monitoring, and routine system administration activities. Work closely with infrastructure, application, and platform engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues. Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills 46 years of experience in Linux system administration. Strong experience with Ubuntu Linux and solid understanding of Linux fundamentals, including process management, memory management, filesystems, networking, system services, user administration, and the Linux boot process. Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes clusters. Strong troubleshooting skills for Linux OS and Kubernetes environments. Good working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation. Exposure to hardware installation, component replacement, and basic server hardware troubleshooting. Experience with container technologies such as Docker. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is an advantage. Key Competencies Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
