Senior Technical Java Consultant

As a candidate for this role, you will be participating in project teams to deploy solutions across open-source and cloud technologies. Your responsibilities will include architecting open-source and cloud technology solutions that address storage, messaging, streaming, analysis, scalability, DevOps, and security. You will also be expected to participate in pre-sales cycles as a technical expert to drive adoption and maturation of open-source and cloud technologies. Additionally, you will participate as a technical expert in client workshops, influencing team members and customers regarding policies, best practices, and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Architect open-source and cloud technology solutions - Participate in pre-sales cycles as a technical expert - Influence team members and customers regarding policies and best practices - Mentor junior staff and support project leadership - Establish strong, long-term professional relationships across Sales, Pre-Sales, and Post-Sales - Drive scoping, planning, and methodology for critical projects - Initiate and participate in PCR requests for additional work Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5+ years of customer-facing role experience - Experience with major cloud vendor environments - Subject matter expert in at least one open-source and cloud technology - Architect-level development skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python) - Strong project and situational awareness - Deep expertise in at least one open-source and/or cloud technology This position offers you the opportunity to work with a diverse range of open-source and cloud technologies, develop your skills as a technical expert, and contribute to the success of critical projects.
