Finishing Engineer

Job Description The Finishing Engineer will be responsible for the execution, supervision, and quality delivery of interior and finishing works at project sites. This role requires coordination with architects, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects with premium quality finishes Skills Bachelor's degree in Civil/Architect Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil construction with a focus on finishing works. Strong understanding of building materials, finishes, and construction methods. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications. Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Responsibilities: Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications for finishing works. Prepare and manage material takeoffs and estimates for finishing elements. Develop and implement quality control procedures for finishing activities. Conduct regular inspections of finishing work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Identify and address any defects or non-conformance issues with finishing works. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers involved in finishing works. Prepare and manage schedules for finishing work activities. Track and monitor progress of finishing works against project milestones. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to finishing works. Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on finishing aspects. Contribute to the continuous improvement of finishing work processes.
