About the role
Job Description: As a Design & development Engineer, you will be responsible for working on FMS System Engineering scope for different Programs aimed to support system design and development.
The various activities to be performed are: Design Activities: Work on Design solutions
Write FMS specifications: SER, SSS, DTS, ICD, DQR
Liaise with Airbus Internal stakeholders to support activities at Function level and System level: Safety, Quality, Process Assurance, Reviews, Certification
Liaise with Suppliers over design
Development Activities (mainly contribution to the System V&V but not restricted to V&V): Write V&V Objectives
Perform the session on real & simulated test means,
Defect analysis: Lab session and Flight test
Liaise with Suppliers for defect conclusion
Work with stakeholder: classify the open defect, Operational impact, aircraft documentation impacts, limitations, etc
Support Development documentation - Dev Plan, VV Plan, VVO, LTR, FTR, VVS etc
Allied Activities: Initiate optimization studies and propose innovative solutions.
Create collaboration topics to improve the process, methods and tools
EDUCATION:
B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.E. in Computer Science/Electronics/Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILL:
General awareness of Aircraft and its Systems
Good understanding of engineering fundamentals, System Engineering and Flight Dynamics
Strong knowledge in few FMS f-areas like: HMI, Flight planning, Guidance, Navigation, Prediction, BITE, Dataloading, Databases & associated standards like A424etc.
Awareness on communication protocols like A429 and AFDX
NICE TO HAVE: Any experience on Airbus FMS is strong advantage

Assertive communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn new skills, self-development
Ability to work in multiple projects and drive innovation initiatives
Strong problem solving and logical thinking ability
