About the role
As a Project Lead - Application Manager at Airbus in Bengaluru, India, you will be responsible for independently managing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for Engineering & PLM Solutions applications. Your role involves adhering to standard software development and operations processes to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software releases. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the management of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for Operations, Maintenance, and Development of Engineering & PLM Solutions applications. - Utilize ITIL-based processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management essential for ALM. - Successfully lead or actively participate in complex release and deployment activities. - Partner with technical departments to validate new applications, tools, technologies, and solutions. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders. - Develop, promote, and teach best practices regarding security, architecture design, connectors, and system development. - Proficient in resource management, financial planning, and project planning. - Utilize Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies in software development. - Advanced proficiency in English, with knowledge of German or French being an added advantage. Qualifications Required: - [Master/Bachelor] degree with 6-9 years of extensive experience in Application Management. - Expert working knowledge of ITIL-based processes. - Over 3 years of experience in complex release and deployment activities. - Certification in ITIL and experience in developing best practices. - Proficiency in resource management and financial planning. - Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies. - Advanced proficiency in English.
