About the role
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot Build and support REST APIs Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code Work with relational databases using basic SQL queries Perform debugging, issue analysis, and bug fixing Collaborate with team members, testers, and business users Understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions Support application deployment and production issue resolution when required Required Skills Good knowledge of Core Java Experience with J2EE Hands-on experience with Spring Boot Basic understanding of REST API development Basic SQL knowledge on any database such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc. Understanding of application layers such as Controller, Service, Repository/DAO Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills Good communication and problem-solving ability Good to Have Knowledge of Microservices Experience with Git Basic understanding of Maven/Gradle Exposure to Spring Data JPA / Hibernate Basic knowledge of cloud or deployment process
