About the role
As an experienced candidate with 3+ years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for designing financial systems for scale, measuring, planning, and iterating. Your key responsibilities will include: - Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code - Designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications - Setting up and owning engineering architectures based on event sourcing, application sharding, database sharding, service communication mesh, etc. - Utilizing technologies such as Go, Google Cloud Spanner, Kafka, and Redis To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 3+ years of experience, with relevant experience being preferred - Knowledge of 2 common programming languages such as Java & Node, Rust, Python & Go - Proficiency in the Linux command line, AWS or GCP - Strong unit test and debugging skills - Excellent communication skills Additionally, it would be a bonus if you: - Enjoy building innovative products and engineering systems from scratch - Are a self-starter, hustler, and eager to learn - Understand the fundamental design principles of scalable applications - Thrive in an early-stage startup environment with less stability and more ambiguity - Have an interest in financial products and/or cryptocurrency This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and be part of a dynamic team driving innovation in the financial sector.
