About the role
Role & responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site. Execute work as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project schedules. Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within the stipulated timelines. Supervise RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, and external development works. Ensure quality standards are maintained in accordance with project specifications and relevant IS Codes. Conduct site inspections and prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs). Verify reinforcement, shuttering, and concrete works before execution. Coordinate material requirements and monitor material consumption to minimize wastage. Assist in quantity measurements, billing, and preparation of work records. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company HSE policies. Resolve day-to-day technical issues at the site and report major concerns to the Project Manager. Maintain site documentation, including inspection records, material registers, cube test reports, and work progress reports. Coordinate with surveyors, supervisors, and labour teams to achieve project milestones. Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline at the project site. Preferred candidate profile B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. 25 years of experience in residential, commercial, or industrial building construction. Good understanding of construction drawings, RCC works, finishing works, and site execution practices. Basic knowledge of IS Codes, QA/QC procedures, and construction safety practices. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word , and other basic computer applications. Experience in quantity verification, material reconciliation, and contractor coordination will be an added advantage. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage site activities independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites as required. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
