Qa Tester

Job Title: QA Tester III- Automation Engineer Experience: 7+ Years Location Pune Job Type: Full Time Shift Timing Day JOB DESCRIPTION: A client in Pune, India is looking for a QA Tester III. This person will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Java, TypeScript, and TestNG. They will be responsible for executing functional, regression, integration, and non-functional testing throughout the QA lifecycle. They will also be analyzing requirements and user stories to create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance validation. In addition, they will lead QA activities within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, refinement, estimation, and continuous improvement. They will participate in UAT and support Product Owners in validating business workflows and acceptance criteria. They will also be performing database validation using MSSQL Server and MySQL. Lastly, they will be identifying, documenting, and tracking defects; collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 7+ years of QA experience with the combination of Functional and Automation testing. In-depth understanding of the various testing concepts (e.g. Functional, Usability, Availability, Performance). Proficiency in Database query knowledge. Strong background in SDLC and Agile (Scrum) software development methodology. Experience with different kinds of testing included but not limited to Functional, System, End-to-End, Sanity, Regression, Build Verification, System Integration etc. End to end functional automation using modern tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress etc. In-depth understanding of API testing including API automation. Languages proficiency - TypeScript/JavaScript (Primary), Java (Secondary), C#. Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Git Actions etc.). Solid background on repository & version controlling systems e.g. Bitbucket, GitHub, Git bash.
