Senior Full Stack Java Developer Location: Chennai (Onsite Role) Summary We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications using modern Java technologies, cloud-native architecture, and microservices. This role involves working across the complete software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and building high-performance applications using industry best practices . Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications. Develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Build cloud-native applications and deploy solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Design high-level software architecture and recommend suitable technology solutions. Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders. Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end components. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Implement secure coding practices and follow industry security standards. Follow Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and Test-Driven Development (TDD). Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. Lead development, testing, deployment, migration, and enhancement activities. Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making. Required Skills Full Stack Java Development: Proficiency in Java with hands-on experience building complete software solutions from front-end to back-end Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Demonstrated expertise in GCP services, architecture, and deployment Programming Language Proficiency: Advanced practical experience in at least one programming language, or practical experience in two or more coding languages Experience Level: 10+ years in IT industry with minimum 8+ years in software development Leadership: Proven ability to guide and mentor team members Preferred Skills & Technologies Spring Boot framework Microservices architecture design and development Google BigQuery RESTful API design and development PostgreSQL database management OpenShift container orchestration Tekton CI/CD pipeline Test-driven development (TDD) Agile and Scrum methodologies
