Production Service Engineer II

Role Overview: As a Production Service Engineer II at Akamai, you will play a key role in ensuring safe, large-scale network changes while integrating and optimizing change safety across workflows. You will be troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, identifying and implementing process improvements, and maintaining positive relationships across teams. Collaboration with the global Change Safety Deployment team is essential to maintaining consistent workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in your area of specialty - Identify and implement process and efficiency improvements in favor of change safety - Improve tools, alerts, documentations, and procedures to enhance change safety - Maintain positive relationships across teams - Collaborate with the global Change Safety Deployment team to ensure consistent workflows Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field - Experience in administering, monitoring, and resolving issues in a high availability platform environment - Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems, SQL, and Scripting languages - Knowledge of network technologies and internet protocols such as TCP/IP, WAN, and DNS - Strong team player with excellent communication and written skills for articulating technical information to internal teams and customers Additional Details: At Akamai, we are committed to developing exceptional individuals who can turn impossible into possible.
