Your Role As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, validating, and improving mechanical components and plastic parts for next-generation medical devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the complete product development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design mechanical components, plastic parts, sub-assemblies, and complete product assemblies using Creo Parametric . Create accurate 3D models, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM). Develop engineering concepts based on product specifications and functional requirements. Improve existing designs through prototype testing, validation, and manufacturing feedback. Apply GD&T, DFM, DFA, tolerance analysis, and engineering best practices. Support prototype development, product validation, and functional testing. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase, and R&D teams. Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and design records. Required Technical Skills CAD Software Creo Parametric (Mandatory) Mechanical Design Skills 3D Modeling Plastic Part Design Assembly Design Engineering Drawings & Drafting GD&T BOM Preparation DFM (Design for Manufacturability) DFA (Design for Assembly) Tolerance Analysis Material Selection Prototype Development Product Validation Design Documentation Preferred Knowledge Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals Plastic Product Design Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) ISO / ASME Engineering Standards Medical Device Manufacturing (Preferred) Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering. 1 to 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design or Product Development. Hands-on experience in plastic component design is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
