About the role
An MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Site Engineer oversees on-site installation, tests building services, and resolves technical issues . Key resume sections include core duties, daily site tasks, and coordination skills Monitor daily mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work on site. Check if work matches approved drawings and project rules. Direct and manage on-site MEP subcontractors and work teams. Inspect building materials and delivered equipment before Prepare and submit work inspection test reports (WIRs). Ensure all installations follow local and international safety codes. Raise inspection requests (IR) for consultant and authority approvals. Maintain strict safety rules on site to prevent accidents. Coordinate MEP layouts with civil and structural teams to avoid clashes. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Solve technical site problems and fix design issues quickly.
