Full Stack Java Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Mt Laurel, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable Java-based applications, microservices, and cloud-native solutions while ensuring secure and reliable API integrations . Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Full Stack Java Developer Job Responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and microservices using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes.

Build and support RESTful APIs, including API gateway integration, versioning, exception handling, rate limiting, and retry mechanisms.

Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions on Azure and support applications running in containerized environments.

Integrate applications with relational databases (RDBMS) while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Monitor application health and troubleshoot production issues using logging, Dynatrace, and observability tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC to deliver high-quality software solutions and provide ongoing production support.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

6–8 years of experience in full-stack Java development, microservices architecture, and cloud-based application development.

Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kubernetes, REST APIs, and API gateway technologies.

Experience with Azure cloud platforms, RDBMS databases, containerized deployments, Dynatrace monitoring, and application support in enterprise environments.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
