About the role
Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Contract with a client in Clearwater, FL. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience analyzing workflows, optimizing manufacturing processes, and improving efficiency through equipment layout, tooling, and workforce utilization . Rate Range: $35/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Manufacturing Engineer Job Responsibilities include: Plan, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency, quality, and throughput.
Evaluate equipment layouts, workflow, and assembly methods to optimize manufacturing operations and resource utilization.
Identify and determine the materials, parts, tools, and equipment required to meet production goals and product specifications.
Support daily manufacturing activities by troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
Maintain process documentation, assist with manufacturing projects, and ensure adherence to established procedures and safety standards.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 3–5 years preferred.
Experience supporting manufacturing operations, including process improvement, workflow analysis, equipment layout, and production efficiency initiatives.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and assembly methods, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
