Embedded Firmware Test Automation Engineer

Role Overview: You will be serving as an Embedded Firmware Test Automation Engineer with a focus on Linux and RTOS platforms. Your role will involve designing and executing test strategies, creating automation frameworks, and validating firmware features across Linux and RTOS environments. Key Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive embedded firmware testing on Linux and RTOS-based platforms. - Develop and manage test automation scripts and frameworks utilizing Python and Pytest. - Design and conduct functional, regression, integration, and system-level tests for firmware. - Analyze logs, troubleshoot failures, and generate detailed defect reports including root cause analysis. - Collaborate closely with firmware developers and system teams to validate fixes and ensure quality. - Generate test plans, test cases, and test reports that align with project requirements. - Ensure adequate automation coverage, enhance test efficiency, and minimize manual efforts. - Contribute to the continual enhancement of test processes and quality metrics. Qualification Required: - BE/BTech/MTech in Electronics/Computer Science/Instrumentation or related fields. - Possess 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in embedded testing and automation.
