About the role
Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores and themes. Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing eCommerce websites. Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs. Integrate third-party applications, payment gateways, shipping solutions, and marketing tools. Develop custom Shopify apps and functionalities when required. Optimize website speed, SEO, and overall performance. Troubleshoot bugs, fix technical issues, and ensure website stability. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, digital marketing, and business teams. Ensure website security and follow Shopify best practices. Test website functionality across multiple browsers and devices.Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Required Skills 25 years of experience in Shopify development. Robust knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive web design. Experience with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and REST APIs. Knowledge of Shopify theme customization and app integrations. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Understanding of SEO, website performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals. Experience integrating payment gateways and shipping solutions. Basic knowledge of React, Node.js, or Vue.js is an added advantage. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Shopify Partner or Shopify certification is a plus. Experience with headless commerce is an added advantage. Valuable problem-solving and communication skills. .
