Role Overview: You will be part of a winning team at Alation shaping the future of AI-powered data intelligence. As a Workday Analyst, your main responsibility will be to configure, manage, and optimize Workday business processes to ensure smooth HR and Finance operations. You will need to have a deep expertise in Workday modules, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system configurations. Collaboration with the Workday HR team to implement new features and enhance system functionality will be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and maintain Workday business processes, including HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation modules. - Develop Workday custom reports and calculated fields. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements. - Ensure strong understanding of Workday security configuration, policies, and best practices. - Experience with security auditing, monitoring, and incident response. - Design, test, and implement efficient Workday solutions aligned with organizational policies and industry best practices. - Coordinate with the Workday team on security roles and access permissions in accordance with compliance standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to business processes and integrations. - Coordinate with technical teams to support integrations, reports, and system upgrades. - Provide training and support to end-users on Workday functionality and business process changes. - Participate in Workday release updates and ensure timely adoption of new features. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for business process configurations and workflows. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. - 8+ years of Workday experience with at least one full implementation. - Proven experience as a Workday Analyst or Functional Consultant, ideally 3+ years. - Strong knowledge of Workday business processes, configuration, and security. - Hands-on experience in configuring Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, or Compensation. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. - Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
