Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurgaon for a Software Firmware Engineer. The responsibilities include designing and developing embedded software solutions, debugging and troubleshooting firmware issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and efficient product development. The engineer will actively test and refine software to meet product requirements, ensuring compatibility and performance standards are achieved in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Develop and customize firmware for IP-based CCTV cameras Work on Embedded Linux / RTOSbased camera platforms Integrate and tune: Image sensors & ISP Video encoding (H.264 / H.265) Implement: Secure boot Signed & encrypted firmware upgrade Password policy & role-based access Optimize system performance, stability, and boot time Collaborate with hardware, QA, and compliance teams Prepare firmware documentation. Qualifications Proficiency in Software Development and Software Design Experience with Embedded Software and Firmware programming Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for embedded systems Knowledge of microcontroller/microprocessor-based systems and their applications Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related technical fields Experience in the security or IoT industry is a plus.
