Principal IT Business Systems Analyst

In this role as Principal I, IT Business Systems Analysis at Alcon, you will be leading the design and implementation of complex business systems to ensure technical solutions align with strategic business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership, evaluating emerging technologies, and making high-level decisions related to IT system design and architecture. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the design and implementation of large-scale IT systems that meet business objectives and are scalable for growth - Acting as the primary point of contact for business and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment - Providing technical leadership and guidance to analysts and other project team members - Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending improvements to existing systems - Leading high-impact IT systems analysis projects with significant business implications - Making high-level decisions related to IT system design and architecture - Providing input on business strategy and aligning IT solutions with business goals As the Principal I, IT Business Systems Analysis, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end functional support and coordination across Alcon's pricing and quoting technology landscape. You will support integrated pricing, quoting, and agreement execution processes to ensure alignment, continuity, and quality for global commercial operations. Key requirements and minimum qualifications for this role include: - Supporting end-to-end pricing and quoting scenarios across Salesforce CPQ and downstream systems - Supporting functional coordination across Salesforce CPQ, Optivision, SAP Vistex, Icertis, MuleSoft, and related integrations - Partnering with business and technical teams to clarify requirements and expected system behavior - Supporting pricing data, pricebook maintenance, and correction activities - Contributing to end-to-end testing and UAT support by assisting with test scenario definition and execution support - Providing day-to-day functional support across platform teams by tracking issues, dependencies, and follow-ups, and escalating risks as needed Please note that the work hours for this position are from 1 PM to 10 PM IST, and relocation assistance is available.
