About the role
As a Senior Network Administrator at our Global IT Delivery Centre in India, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, configuring, maintaining, and supporting the organization's Server Infrastructure platform. Your responsibilities will include technical acumen, customer service, and ensuring seamless access to tools and applications. You will address any issues within the platform, safeguard data, and support productivity and collaboration tools. In addition, you will develop and maintain functional and secure networks globally, supporting, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining company Networks 24x7. You will also mentor a team of engineers to troubleshoot and optimize our networks. Key Responsibilities: - Configure, install, and integrate Cisco Network Switches (Cisco 9200, 93000), Access Points (9120), and other network devices. - Monitor network performance and integrity. - Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade the company's networks. - Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, implement security measures, and proactively optimize network performance. - Handle day-to-day LAN Connectivity. - Resolve escalated issues by troubleshooting cloud, Global, and local infrastructure. - Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness. - Mentor team members on technical issues. - Communicate with users when needed. - Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability. Qualifications Required: - Graduate in any field. - CCNA or CCNP certification. - Excellent Communication Skills i.e. Communication, collaboration, and curiosity is a must. In this role, we are looking for someone with a keen interest in Administration and Automation, willingness to learn and adapt to changes in the Global Network Infrastructure ecosystem, ability to find creative solutions to complex problems within the Administration area, contribute to the team's knowledge base, and help colleagues. Keeping detailed records of configurations, changes, and incidents is essential. If you are a Graduate preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator, and possess professional certifications such as CCNA or CCNP, along with a solid background in network administration and architecture, then we would like to meet you. An in-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), Cisco Firewall, and SD WAN knowledge is preferred. Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools and a solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS) are also required. Additionally, hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching, sharp troubleshooting skills, ability to work independently, and excellent organizational and mentoring skills are essential.
