Chief Data Architect

Role & responsibilities Define and drive the enterprise-wide data architecture strategy aligned with business objectives. Design scalable data architecture covering transactional, analytical, master, and reference data domains. Establish and implement enterprise Data Governance frameworks, policies, and standards. Lead Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, data quality, and data lifecycle initiatives. Develop enterprise data models, integration strategies, and interoperability standards. Architect modern data platforms supporting analytics, AI/ML, and business intelligence. Review solution architectures, data models, integration patterns, and technical designs. Collaborate with business, IT, security, and leadership teams to deliver enterprise-wide data solutions. Drive data governance, compliance, security, privacy, and regulatory standards across the organization. Mentor technical teams and provide architectural guidance for enterprise data initiatives. Lead architecture reviews, governance forums, and stakeholder discussions. Define enterprise data standards, best practices, and technology roadmaps. Preferred candidate profile 15 - 20+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Data Governance. Strong expertise in Data Architecture, Master Data Management (MDM), Metadata Management, Data Quality, and Data Integration. Hands-on experience designing enterprise data platforms, data lakes, and cloud-based data solutions. Strong knowledge of Oracle ecosystem, enterprise integration, data modeling, and analytics platforms. Experience implementing DAMA-DMBOK principles and enterprise Data Governance frameworks. Exposure to AI/ML data platforms, Business Intelligence, and advanced analytics is preferred. TOGAF Certification and DAMA certification are highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience working in large enterprise or multi-business environments with global stakeholders is an added advantage.
