Automation Tech Lead

As an Automation Tech Lead at AlgoSec, your role is crucial in ensuring the security of critical workloads for over 2,300 leading organizations worldwide. Your primary responsibilities include: - Leading and developing your team members to help them grow, adapt, and take on more responsibilities, fostering a culture of ownership within the team. - Taking ownership of the QA part of the CI/CF flow, ensuring timely and quality deliveries. - Collaborating with architects, engineers, DevOps, and product managers to address stakeholders' diverse requirements through QA. - Designing, creating, and executing automation scripts using Java and Selenium as this is a hands-on role. - Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing all test case automation-related activities during iterative development and regression testing. - Reviewing user stories and functional requirements, and assisting with manual testing using test management/tracking tools. - Creating and maintaining test plans, cases, and scripts in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologies, following the scrum methodology. Qualifications required for this role include: - A B.Sc. in Computer Sciences/Engineering or equivalent experience. - Minimum 5 years of experience in leading QA/Automation development teams for SAAS products. - Proficiency in SAAS continuous integration and deployment, methodologies, and practices. - Minimum 5 years of experience writing automated tests in Java and experience in manual QA positions. - Experience in developing complex automation tests for client-side (Selenium), server-side (API), and DB. - Familiarity with QA of network security software products and Prompt Engineering principles. - Proven ability to effectively use AI chatbot tools and coding assistants within a development environment. - Multitasking, problem-solving abilities, and a team player with excellent communication skills. Additionally, the following qualifications would be advantageous: - Experience with developing MCPs and transforming non-agentic systems into agentic systems. - Familiarity with RAG pipelines, semantic search, Linux/UNIX environments, and AWS.
