Technical Lead - Frontend Architecture

As a Frontend Tech Lead, your role will involve owning the front-end architecture and leading the development of a new design system on Angular 17+ with standalone components. You will be responsible for setting front-end standards, leading a team of Angular engineers, and ensuring performance, accessibility, and scalability for a multi-tenant SaaS product. Key Responsibilities: - Own Angular 17+ architecture, including standalone components, NgRx, and Formly-based forms. - Establish and manage the shared design system and theming model. - Define API integration contracts with backend leads using Azure API Management. - Set WCAG accessibility standards and conduct axe checks in Playwright E2E suites. - Drive front-end performance optimization, lazy loading, and bundle optimization. - Lead and mentor a front-end engineering team, collaborate with UX leadership, and integrate front-end pipelines into Azure DevOps CI/CD. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. - 8+ years of front-end engineering experience with expertise in Angular and TypeScript. - Experience in design system creation and ownership. - Proficiency in NgRx/state-management and demonstrated accessibility and performance leadership. - Hands-on leadership experience in reviews, mentoring, and standards-setting. Must-Have Skills: - Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and modern architecture patterns. - Strong leadership in design systems and accessibility. - Experience in performance optimization and CI/CD. - Demonstrated leadership of a front-end team. Good-to-Have Skills: - Experience with Angular standalone components and signals at scale. - Knowledge of Formly or metadata-driven form development. - Expertise in multi-tenant theming and feature-flag implementation. - Previous experience in greenfield front-end leadership. - Hands-on experience with AI tools in Software Development Lifecycle (Claude and GitHub Copilot preferred).
