About the role
Role Overview: As an Engineer - IT, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely execution of assigned client deliverables and successful unit testing of requirements. You will collaborate with a senior team member to deliver a fully integrated product to the client. Your role will involve specializing and deepening your technical skill set within Absence Management. Key Responsibilities: - Project Planning, Tracking, & Reporting: - Contribute to initial coding estimates. - Support the team in project planning activities and risk evaluation. - Communicate regularly with the team regarding development changes, scheduling, and status. - Design: - Understand assigned detailed design and perform code development. - Clarify and enhance the design with the team as needed. - Development & Support: - Build high-priority and complex systems according to technical specifications. - Use code management processes and tools to maintain code efficiency. - Ensure code does not impact external or internal systems. - Testing & Debugging: - Write and execute unit test cases. - Debug and resolve project, code, or interface-level issues. - Test high-priority functionality with support as required. - Documentation: - Create documentation for the code following defined standards. - Incorporate peer review feedback into technical documentation. - Process Management: - Adhere to project and support processes. - Comply with approved policies, procedures, and methodologies. - Participate in root cause analysis. Qualification Required: - Education: B E Computers, IT / MCA / MSc IT, Computer Science - Experience: 2+ years of experience in analyzing application storyboards, developing functional application modules, and maintaining code quality. - Skills: Proficiency in C#, Asp.NetCore, Web Forms, Web APIs, Asp.Net MVC, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, T-SQL, OOPS concepts, MS SQL Server, Git, Entity Framework, etc. - Knowledge: Experience in designing and maintaining C#.net core code, Microsoft .Net Web applications, unit testing, database management, JIRA updates, etc. *Please note that the job description also includes details about the company's competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training opportunities, and potential for growth within a global organization.
