DevOps Team Lead

Department: Information Technology Location: APAC-India-IT Delivery Center Hyderabad Description About the Opportunity: The Align Data and Analytics Team is looking for a DevOps Team Lead to join our team In this role, you will support our organization by assisting in building and maintaining infrastructure needs on the Azure platform You will be in charge of CI/CD automation through a variety of industry-standard toolsets as well as interfacing with in-house solutions You will closely work with other internal teams and vendors and provide solutions that meet the highest industry standards for the business requirements Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and Duties: Support software CI/CD pipeline in existing infrastructure stack, Develop new solutions with a Security First mindset, Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for new business requirements, Build new CI/CD pipelines, Document all newly developed solutions, Work directly with the development team in multiple geographical locations to improve CI processes and implement SDLC best practices according to their requests and needs, Qualifications Skills, Knowledge & Expertise 6+ yearsexperience leading a team of motivated DevOps engineers 4+ years of hands-on experience working as a DevOps Engineer 3+ years working in a cloud environment as a software or operations engineer (Azure preferred), 3+ years working on systems admin level with Linux and/or Windows Understanding of full-scale enterprise SDLC processes, Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence), Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Atlassian Bamboo, GitLab, or similar), Skills in Python/Bash/PowerShell, Knowledge of Continuous Integration practices and tools, Familiarity with configuration and/or infrastructure management frameworks (Visual Studio, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc ), Familiarity with deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining distributed systems and/or client-server applications, VCS experience, preferably Git (we use Bitbucket), Familiarity with working in an Agile environment, Practical experience with container-based technologies (Docker, etc ), Practical experience in managing and deploying Kubernetes clusters (preferably EKS), Practical experience in managing and deploying Databricks workspace and clusters using Terraform, Practical networking knowledge, e-g, cross-account/cloud connectivity without compromising security aspects, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Familiarity with SQL and modern SQL databases, Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field Applicant Privacy Policy Review our Applicant Privacy Policyfor additional information, Global Diversity Statement At Align, we believe in the power of a smile, and we know that every smile is as unique as our employees As we grow, we are committed to building a workforce rich in diverse cultural backgrounds and life experiences, fostering a culture of open-mindedness and compassion We live our company values by promoting healthy people and healthy communities, all with the intent of changing millions of lives, one unique smile at a time, Equal Opportunity Statement Align Technology is an equal opportunity employer We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities in all our practices, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, protected veteran status, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other legally protected category Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country for which they are applying, and employment eligibility will be verified as a condition of hire,
