About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Agentic Coding for AI Training, you will be at the forefront of developing autonomous coding systems that revolutionize how the next generation of AI writes, debugs, and deploys code independently. Role Overview: - Design, build, and enhance agentic coding workflows where AI independently plans, writes, tests, and refines code - Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, efficiency, security, and adherence to coding best practices - Create challenging real-world coding scenarios to test and enhance agentic AI capabilities - Provide expert feedback on AI reasoning processes, tool utilization, and code quality - Identify failure points, edge cases, and breakdown areas in autonomous agents - Develop and enhance evaluation frameworks, rubrics, and testing tools for agentic systems - Collaborate asynchronously with researchers and engineers focusing on large language models and AI agents - Independently work on task-based assignments at your preferred pace and schedule Key Responsibilities: - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of building, delivering, and maintaining real systems - Proficiency in major programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, or Rust - Strong grasp of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles - Ability to review, debug, and understand code across various codebases and styles - Deep understanding of modern development workflows including version control, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and code review - Exceptional problem-solving skills to tackle ambiguous and multi-step technical challenges - Clear and precise technical communication skills to evaluate and articulate code quality - Self-directed work approach with reliability in independent tasks - Genuine interest in agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), and the future of autonomous software development Qualifications Required: - Experience in AI/ML systems, prompt engineering, or LLM-based tooling is a plus - Familiarity with agentic frameworks like LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, or OpenAI function calling - Background in developer tools, compilers, static analysis, or code generation would be beneficial - Experience in evaluating or training AI models using workflows like RLHF or preference labeling - Contributions to open-source projects or a strong public engineering portfolio are advantageous - Knowledge of multiple programming paradigms and languages is desirable If you are excited about working on cutting-edge projects in the realm of agentic AI, where your expertise directly influences how AI agents write software, this fully remote and flexible contract role in Bangalore is the perfect opportunity for you.
