About the role
Role Overview: You will be a Software Engineer based in Chennai, responsible for building, evaluating, and enhancing AI-generated code to train AI systems in thinking like real developers. Your role will involve writing solutions, reviewing AI outputs, and providing expert-level feedback to improve the AI coding assistants. This is a hands-on engineering opportunity at the forefront of AI development, focusing on practical work rather than theoretical or bureaucratic tasks. The position is fully remote and offers flexibility in terms of working hours. Key Responsibilities: - Write, debug, and optimize code across various languages, frameworks, and problem domains. - Review and assess AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices. - Identify bugs, logic errors, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs. - Provide structured and detailed feedback to explain the functioning of code. - Create challenging coding prompts and edge-case scenarios to test AI capabilities. - Compare and rank multiple AI-generated solutions based on engineering quality. - Work independently and asynchronously, managing your schedule effectively. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, TypeScript, or similar. - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. - Ability to comprehend, write, and reason about code clearly and precisely. - Strong problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to debugging. - Effective written communication skills to explain technical decisions in plain language. - Self-motivated and reliable in working independently without supervision. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
