Role: GCP Cloud Architect Location: Hyderabad Hybrid Mode Position Exp: 4 - 6 Years Requirements Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using native cloud tools for backup, patching, monitoring, and security compliance. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance cloud service offerings and support the cloud services platform. Monitor and manage multiple cloud solutions to meet project requirements. Address incidents and service health issues in accordance with service level agreements. Collaborate with a Cloud Engineering team using Agile methods like Kanban to track work items. Advocate for cloud-native solutions and patterns to improve platform and project outcomes. Develop and deploy infrastructure as code following best practices. Use CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps to create pipelines for building and releasing infrastructure. Maintain documentation for standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rota. Personal Characteristics: Ability to become a trusted advisor to clients. Passionate about technology. Eager to learn and continuously develop. Effective communicator in both verbal and written forms for technical and consultative audiences. Meticulous attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Professional Experience: Essential: Extensive experience building and deploying solutions in GCP using infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager). Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (preferably with Azure DevOps). Proven skills in scripting or programming for automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). Experience with monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments. Deep knowledge of networking, troubleshooting, and configuration. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, encryption, and incident response. Familiarity with Agile principles (e.g., Kanban and SCRUM). Operational experience supporting cloud environments. At least one cloud certification (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer). Desirable: Additional cloud architect or developer certification (e.g., GCP). Experience with microservices and container-based systems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). ITIL experience. SCRUM/Agile certification. Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
