About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the administration of the Varicent Sales Performance Management (SPM) commission software application This includes configuration, enhancements, and bug fixes You will deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient applications managing all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, modeling & design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentation Working with cross-functional teams, you will develop solutions that accelerate cycle times, alleviate cumbersome manual processes, and ensure accurate results Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives to drive innovation within the organization Candidate Qualifications: A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, MIS, or Computer Science or related field Overall 5 years of software development experience with a minimum of 2 years of solutioning and programming experience with Varicent ICM Experience in the insurance domain (Life, Disability) and understanding of insurance terminology and Life Insurance/Disability Insurance Agent contracts Strong knowledge in Design, Development, and Testing of ETL methodologies in all phases of Data Warehousing Proficiency in creating and publishing dashboards and writing SQL queries Prior expertise in business analysis and technical skills to develop requirements documents for ICM (Varicent) Experience with Agile deliverables and ceremonies Advanced skills in SQL, JavaScript, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Capability to solve complex technical problems and assimilate information rapidly Required Skills: Varicent ICM- Composer MS SQL server ETL methodologies Insurance domain knowledge Agile deliverables
