Senior Full-Stack Java Developer - AWS - Full Remote - Contractor in USD

For an international organization, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Senior Full-Stack Java Developerr with AWS Cloud experience. Candidates need to be willing to work European office hours. This position is long-term. Tasks and Responsibilities: Gather requirement and prepare wire-frames, when required; Technical analysis of business requirements to produce specifications; Draft and update use cases, when required; Implement POC, when required; Develop applications, modules and libraries as per finalized requirements and design and in accordance with agreed quality standards and security paradigm; Prepare unit test cases and plans; Follow guidelines from Control, Quality and Procedures Section: JIRA workflow, DevOps and build strategies, software development standards and best practices, security instructions, segregation of duties; Ensure documentation of software/changes is maintained and at quality in accordance with internal standards and industry best practices; Profile: University degree in computer science, engineering or other related discipline; +10 years of Java development experience; +2 years of AWS Cloud experience; Backend skills: Java (i.e. Open JDK 21), REST APIs, database (Postgres SQL / Oracle), JUnit/Mockito; Frontend skills: HTML, JSF/Primefaces, CSS, JavaScript; Familiar with DevOps concepts (SVN/Git, CI/CD, Docker), and security (JWT, OAuth); Familiar with managing the application stack from server-side logic to UI/UX design; Proficiency with AWS cloud platform, containerization, and microservices architecture is desirable; Fluent in English;
