CAD Engineer (2-4 years)_Contract

Job Posting Title: CAD Engineer Job Description Summary Allegion India is seeking a Mechanical Engineer on contract to support Commercial Mechanical Team. Responsibilities would include but not limited to: Generation of concepts and designs, 3D models and drawings as per the specifications; Supporting design and supplier reviews; Developing technical documentation; Product change management. Job Description BE/BTech in mechanical engineering at a minimum with 2-4 years of experience - Must Have Proficient in Creo 12.0 and above versions – Solid Modeling/Sheet Metal/Drawing/ Assembly – Must Have Good experience and understanding of ECR processes in Windchill- Must have Good Knowledge on Drafting Practices and Standards Good experience in PDM such as Windchill /Intralinks / Team Center or equivalent tools Good experience of creating engineering and production drawings using GDCT Able to analyze manufacturing processes of a sub-assembly/part and generate process steps Strong manufacturing knowledge like - machining (conventional C non-conventional), installation and assembling of component, sheet metal fabrication etc. Good knowledge on usage of special assembly tools, jigs and fixtures Knowledge of latest manufacturing processes Good verbal and written communication Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Willingness to take directions from SME and act upon it Allegionis a diverse and inclusive environment.
