Highway Engineer Cum Pavement Specialist

Total Experience in Highway projects : Minimum 10 years Experience in Similar Capacity : AsHighway Engineer in at least 2 Highway Projects. Pavement design of major highwayprojects (2/4/6 lane NH/SH/Expressways) of minimum aggregate length of 80 km. Responsibilities : He will beassisting the Team Leader and Resident Engineer and in conjunction with the ProjectManager will plan the Schedule of work, assigns project personnel and equipment neededto perform work constructed by the employers Personnel. He will supervise work in thefield and interpret plans and specifications on job site to ensure that the standardsare met. He will schedule the work with the construction teams and will supervise andperform testing and inspection procedures. He will direct the work of the survey crewand may participate as a surveyor when needed at construction site. He will provideadvice and estimates for small change / variation of scope of work in the project. Hewill verify the contract quantities and payments. He will also make inspections ofhighway bridges for structural condition in accordance with the MoRTH guidelines.
