Group Technical Architect

As a Tech Lead at Allianz Commercial, you will play a pivotal role in driving and implementing the AI Automation strategy for the Infrastructure & Information Security (IF&IS) pillar. Your responsibilities will include: - Partnering with the Head of IF&IS Automation & Integration and Automation SMEs to co-develop and execute comprehensive AI & automation strategies for IF&IS and enterprise-wide initiatives - Driving the strategic roadmap implementation for AI Maturity at IF&IS, focusing on agentic AI to enable autonomous decision-making systems - Establishing AI Automation governance frameworks to ensure transparency, scale, and responsible AI deployment - Leading cross-functional collaboration with business units, technology teams, and executive stakeholders to align AI initiatives with strategic objectives - Developing scalable AI-powered services and platforms to transform customer experience, operations, security monitoring, and business process automation - Championing the deployment of enterprise agentic AI systems for real-time learning and autonomous workflow optimization - Identifying and evaluating emerging AI technologies to drive innovation and technology enablement - Leading the financial performance of AI Automation services and preparing budgets and business cases Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in AI, automation, digital transformation, or enterprise technology roles - Proven track record of delivering large-scale AI/automation initiatives in global enterprises, preferably in financial services or highly regulated industries - Experience with enterprise AI governance, responsible AI practices, and regulatory compliance frameworks - Master's degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field - Exceptional communication and storytelling skills - Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams In addition to your leadership and experience qualifications, technical expertise required for this role includes: - Architecting end-to-end AI Automation products and services with AI-compatible front end, back end, and orchestration - Deep understanding and solution design of GenAI, agentic AI, and advanced Automation architectures - Hands-on knowledge of enterprise AI and Advanced Automation technologies, including large language models, machine learning platforms, and cognitive automation - Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R, SQL) - Experience with MLOps practices and tools for deploying and managing ML models at scale - Knowledge of generative AI, agentic frameworks, REST API development, DevOps, cloud platforms, and more Allianz Group is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels empowered to explore, grow, and shape a better future.
